Data we collect

We only collect the information you enter in the booking enquiry form: first name, last name, email address, phone number (optional), requested dates, number of adults and children, and your message.

When you visit the website, our hosting provider also records technical connection data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) for security purposes and to keep the website running properly.

Purpose and legal basis

Your data is used solely to answer your enquiry, send you availability and rates, and prepare your possible booking. This processing is based on pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Your data is never sold, rented or used for advertising purposes.

Recipients and service providers

Your data is intended solely for MDS. It passes through technical service providers acting on our behalf: Netlify (website hosting) and Resend (sending the form emails, via servers located in Ireland), as well as our email service.

Some of these providers are US companies. Any transfer of data outside the European Union is covered by appropriate safeguards: the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Retention period

Enquiries are kept for no more than 3 years after our last exchange. If a rental takes place, the necessary data is kept for the period required by our legal and accounting obligations.

Cookies

This website uses no advertising cookies and no audience measurement tools. It only sets one technical cookie to remember your chosen language.

The Activities page includes a Google Maps map: when it is displayed, Google may collect browsing data in accordance with its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights, email us at lamountavilla@gmail.com.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), or with the authority of your country of residence.

Security

The website is only accessible over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we implement technical measures to protect your data against unauthorised access.
